Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an Airbus Military Derivatives Technical Manager (f/m) to join the chief engineering and technical team in Toulouse, France. You will drive aircraft and program development, coordinate technical reviews, and ensure compliance with program requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering, strong coordination skills, and proficiency in French and English; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Engineering (Systems and Aircraft Development, Test, Certification and Qualification).
• Skilled in issue resolution and management of interfaces within functional groups.
• Familiar with the A330 MRTT or Airbus Single Aisle Program (desirable).
• Ability to manage internal people and external subcontracting companies.
• Languages: Good French and English level - Spanish language would be plus.
• Negotiation, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Aircraft Technical Specification preparation/updates.
• Preparation of the Program Development Plan: defining planning and technical reviews.
• Preparation of program Work Order.
• Preparation and coordination of the design technical reviews.
• Coordination of the documentation for development, certification and qualification.
• Discussion and agreement with the CoC of any issue in relation with the compliance of the technical requirements.
• System and Subsystem Specifications verification to ensure their compliance with the program requirements.
• Provide inputs for the ME Budget of the program.
• Inputs for the Certification and Qualification Plans.
• Support to Operations and Services Functions in technical queries.
• Coordination of ground and flight tests.
• Coordination of Engineering Activities for modifications in the Green Aircraft.
• Monitor progress and ensure on-time, on-cost deliveries.
