Job Summary

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer (Specialist) for the role of overseeing the integration, design, and production processes for the AVELIA range of products. Candidate should ensure that previous project learnings (REX) and standard solutions are applied to new projects.

The individual will work autonomously to analyze change requests, design solutions, and provide technical expertise to unblock production issues in the LRH (Local Rail Hub) production line. The role requires close collaboration with various engineering disciplines (EDUs) and other stakeholders, particularly during ICONE sessions and project reviews, while managing change requests and preparing modifications to ensure project success.

Competencies / Knowledge / Responsibility
  • Leverage knowledge of the AVELIA range, REX, and standard solutions from previous projects to effectively drive the S phase of new projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure all design elements meet project scope, timelines, and technical requirements.
  • Oversee FMR (First Manufacturing Run) in the LRH production line, providing real‑time support to identify and resolve open issues reported by operators and industrial teams.
  • Collaborate with operators, industrial teams, and other stakeholders to quickly unblock production bottlenecks and maintain smooth production flow.
  • Ensure full presence at the LRH site to foster collaboration with various EDUs and metiers, including industrial teams (Indus) and SLI (System Lifecycle Integration) teams.
  • To ensure full presence in LRH site to collaborate with other EDUs and metiers (indus / SLI...), especially during ICONE sessions
  • To prepare and present modifications to CCB to convince the project.
  • To understand the input from change request to estimate the impacts for Routing scope
  • To design from M to M (conceptual to detailed design) taking into account all requirements (change request, REX, synoptics...)
  • To prepare DR (Design Review) checklist with evidences in front of each question ensuring all documentation meets the necessary quality standards and is in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Address any gaps in the MOP (Manufacturing Operations Procedures), particularly in the LRV range.
  • To support W / D (Root Cause Analysis and Disciplines) and QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) analysis by providing in-depth technical analysis and feedback.
Qualifications
  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience
  • Experience in the rail industry, specifically in managing complex systems like the AVELIA range or other transportation systems.
  • Proven experience in production support, technical project management, and system integration in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Skills
  • In‑depth knowledge of AVELIA systems and return on experience to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into new projects.
  • Strong understanding of FMR (First Manufacturing Run) processes and the ability to manage production issues proactively.
  • Proficiency in using ICONE and CCB processes for configuration and design changes.
  • Experience with change request analysis, including the ability to evaluate the impact on system routing and other technical aspects.
  • Knowledge of W / D and QRQC methodologies for problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
  • Strong ability to design and prepare DR checklists, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects and tasks.
