Job summary

Ceva Animal Health in Loudéac, France, is looking for a Production Manager to oversee all pharmaceutical production and packaging operations. You will drive performance, ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets, and manage a team across shifts in a highly regulated environment.

• Deploy continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Operational Excellence) to reduce costs.

• Contribute to investment planning and development of production capabilities.

Context:

Reporting directly to the Loudéac Site Director and member of the Excom, you will oversee all pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations. Working in a highly regulated environment, you will be responsible for ensuring industrial performance while meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead all pharmaceutical production activities and coordinate teams to ensure the successful execution of the production plan while meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Manage, develop, and support production teams by fostering engagement, skills development, and a positive working environment in accordance with CEVA managerial values and HR processes.
• Drive industrial performance through the optimization of processes, resources, production flows, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP standards, and quality procedures across all production operations.
• Deploy and promote continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence) to sustainably enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Ensure the implementation of HSE policies, risk prevention measures, and actions that safeguard employees and protect the environment.
• Contribute to investment planning, strategic industrial projects, and the ongoing development of production capabilities.

Yourprofile :

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree (Master of Science/MEng) in Production Engineering, Pharmacy, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in industrial production management, ideally within the pharmaceutical, animal health, or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage business performance, budgets, production KPIs, and transformation projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage teams, drive change, and develop cross-functional organizations.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
