Job Description

Production Associate – responsible for all tasks involved in the production of the company’s exterior building products, following standard work methods and safe work habits to mass‑produce windows.

Pay Range

$19.50

Summary / Objective

Meets EHS requirements in accomplishing responsibilities of this position complying with all policies, cardinal safety rules or regulations set forth by CBB, Simonton, or various government agencies concerning safety, environment, vehicles and any related items.

Essential Functions

• Assembles the materials to produce sub‑assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
• Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Tracks production on schedule boards.
• Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Puts finished goods in the designated area.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Maintains production schedule to meet customer orders daily.
• Rotates to different workstations as production needs require.
• Reads a tape measure accurately and consistently.
• Applies basic math.
• Reads and comprehends floor reports.
• Deals with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality.
• Delivers dependable long hours when necessary to reach goals.
• Accomplishes quality performance meeting or exceeding all line, department, facility, and company processes for continuous improvement and customer relations.

Physical Demands

Talk or hear regularly; walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; bend, stoop, kneel or crouch; lift up to 50 pounds; stand for long periods throughout the day. Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type / Expected Hours

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.); regular and frequent overtime and weekend work required as business dictates.
