Horizon Trading Solutions is seeking a Product Owner to define, structure and drive the Extend offer within our multi-asset trading platform. You will lead roadmap development,Stakeholder discussions, and backlog refinement in an agile, international context.

You will work with an experienced team across France, Hong Kong and Montreal, contributing to pricing decisions and ensuring delivery aligned with strategic objectives. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 4 years in Financial Markets – Electronic trading.
• Experience in Product Management: roadmap ownership and backlog management.
• Balance of technical knowledge and project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Agile Methodology and Scrum ceremonies.

We are currently looking for a Product Owner – Extend to join our Product Management team and define, structure and drive the development of Extend offer ( internal offer) capabilities within our existing multi-asset trading platform. This newly created role combines product strategy and execution: the first objective is to structure and define the Extend scope, build the roadmap and position the offer through market and competitive analysis, before leading its implementation and acting as the internal reference point on Extend topics.

Your day to day

Inside an Agile team you will be dedicated to, using Scrum and DevOps in an international environment ( teams located in France, Hong Kong, Montreal), you will contribute to each step of the development of our solutions (from specification to implementation on client side).

You Will Have The Missions To

1/ Define the scope

• Propose and build a strategic roadmap on your product scope
• Discuss with stake holders (CDM, Sales, Product Manager, Client) to understand the context of client requests / change requests / roadmap initiatives
• Clearly express Product Backlog items – writing or reviewing existing items entered by Client Support, Client Delivery Manager, Engineering team ; except for detailed technical specifications written by Epic Leaders
• Participate in the pricing of the projects / features
• Evaluate the relevance and priorities of incoming requests

2/ Manage the backlog

• Write, detail and validate items in Product backlog
• Order the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions of the Scrum Team and give it visibility on its future tasks / projects
• Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all

3/ Help your Scrum Team to meet its delivery commitments

• Join Daily Stand Up meetings, Scrum ceremonies and animate/drive Backlog Estimations, Sprint Review and Sprint Planning meetings
• During the Sprint Planning, define and review the Sprint Goal with the Scrum Team
• Ensure the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
• Challenge the grooming of the team according to the original estimate, priorities and milestones of the project
• Answer functional questions from Developers and QA about Backlog items, or revert to their relevant person.
• Contribute to the functional knowledge of the Engineering Team
• Optimize the value of the work the Development Team performs

You have

• IT or Finance Trading education background
• A minimum of 4 years of in Financial Markets – Electronic trading
• Experience in Product Management :
• Has structured or defined a product roadmap from early-stage scope definition. Experience building or expanding a product line.
• Owns backlog, writes specifications and manages trade-offs between business value and technical constraints.
• Balance of technical knowledge and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - strong synthetic mind
• Strong commitment to resolve issues and arbitrate
• Rigor (reporting, timeliness, structuring) and Organization and focus to delivery
• Fully impregnate of Agile Methodology, Scrum ceremonies.
• Client-oriented, team player and willing to share your knowledge

Salary Range : €70,000 - €90,000 gross annual fixed salary, depending on profile and experience.
