Job summary

Scaleway in Paris is seeking a Storage Product Manager to own a strategic storage portfolio, from roadmap to lifecycle. You’ll work with engineering, marketing and sales to translate customer needs into scalable cloud solutions.

You will evangelize product vision, drive data-driven decisions, and mentor junior product team members in a highly technical, cross-functional environment. Hybrid work and international collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience, with ≥2 years in Product Management.
• Experience managing highly complex software or hardware products.
• Hands-on in large-scale infrastructure or Cloud (IaaS).

Responsibilities

• Define and pilot the product roadmap for the storage portfolio.
• Incorporate Voice of the Customer into discovery and design phases.
• Drive PoCs with R&D and engineering teams.
• Contribute to the Go-to-Market strategy for growth and adoption.
• Maintain deep client relationships across channels.
• Use data tools to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to translate requirements into cloud solutions.

You will be part of a team of4people. The Storage Product team currently consists of the Head of Product, a Senior PM for Object Storage, and two PMs dedicated to Block & File storage. You will work in direct, daily collaboration with our engineering teams, while also driving cross-functional initiatives alongside marketing, finance, sales, and supply chain teams.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

Tasks

Define, structure, and pilot the product roadmap for your strategic storage portfolio.

Port the “Voice of the Customer” directly into the product discovery and design phases.

Accelerate innovation and orchestrate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in close collaboration with R&D and engineering teams.

Contribute to the Go-to-Market strategy to accelerate product growth and market adoption.

Maintain deep client relationships across various channels, including community Slack channels, direct meetings, and RFQ responses.

Leverage data and analytical tools like Metabase and n8n to ensure impactful, data-driven decisions.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to transform customer requirements into highly technical cloud solutions.

HARDSKILLS:

5 years of overall professional experience, with a minimum of2 years specializing in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Technical Project Management.

Proven track record as a PM managinghighly complex technological products spanning software or hardware.

Hands-on experience working withlarge-scale infrastructure projects or within Cloud ecosystems (IaaS).

Strong data culture with familiarity using management and analytical tools likeJira, Confluence, Metabase, and n8n.
