Description du poste

Our Product Team

Led by Fabien, our VP Product, Joko's Product team groups the passionate individuals behind our users' delight!

From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team's main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering, Design, and Business teams.

Joko is organized into four product tribes, each owning a key dimension of the company's value:

  • Business lines owns the current core value proposition, covering online shopping, in-store experiences, and gift cards, each run as a dedicated team.
  • Scale focuses on growing and amplifying this value through growth, international expansion, and shared core user experiences across the app.
  • Juno builds the next value proposition: an AI shopping assistant that finds the right product at the best price in seconds, backed by a universal catalog of what merchants actually sell.
  • Platform serves teams and non user-facing stakeholders, owning internal tools, infrastructure, compliance, and operational scalability.
Engine task force

Juno is Joko's most ambitious bet: becoming the front door to shopping. An AI assistant that understands what someone is genuinely looking for, searches thousands of merchants at once, and gets them to the right decision in seconds rather than hours — the reflex people reach for before they buy anything.

The Juno tribe is split into two task forces.

Engine owns the assistant itself: the conversational experience users interact with, and the product logic that turns an intent into the right recommendation.

Catalog owns the universal product catalog that powers it.

Engine is where Juno meets the user. It owns the conversation itself: how someone expresses a vague intent, how the assistant narrows it down, and how a recommendation is presented so that it is actually trusted.

Nobody has settled what a great shopping conversation looks like, so there are no patterns to borrow and the answers have to be found by building and testing.

The task force is a small, autonomous team: a Product Manager who owns it, a Product Designer, and software engineers.

This role is its first Product Manager, so the scope, the standards, and the way the team works are yours to define.

What you will do

As Product Manager for the Engine task force, you own it. That means the end-to-end user experience of Juno, from the conversational interface on mobile and web to the product logic behind the recommendations.

You will report to Yosr, who leads the Juno tribe, and work day to day with a Product Designer, software engineers, and the Catalog task force.

Conversational product design: There is no market standard for what a great shopping conversation looks like. You will define it. That means testing a lot, iterating fast, and inventing interaction patterns for a surface that has none yet.

Designing with AI's limits in mind: A model-backed flow behaves differently from a deterministic one. You will design for hallucinations, unexpected outputs, and edge cases: what the fallback is, what the model gets fed, what the user sees when it goes wrong. This is a large part of the craft in this role.

Discovery, user testing & iteration: You will run user tests continuously, read real conversations, spot where the experience breaks, and turn that into the next iteration. You will own the rollout strategy and decide what ships to whom, when.

Roadmap & ownership: You will define the vision and roadmap for the assistant experience, prioritise against company priorities and technical reality, and own delivery from problem framing to launch.

Measurement: Evaluating an AI experience is a hard problem in itself. You will define what quality means for Juno, build the metrics that track it, and use them to drive decisions.

Competitive positioning: Generic assistants ship new shopping capabilities constantly. You will define what makes a specialised shopping assistant win.

Who we're looking for

Experience: You have at least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Product Manager. We are flexible on seniority, but you need enough depth to bring real experience to a team that is being built.

AI product experience: You have shipped user-facing features powered by AI, on a product with a meaningful user base. You know what it takes to put a model in front of real users and keep the experience good.

UX & UI judgment: You have strong instincts on user experience and interface, and you have wrestled with the specific difficulty of designing an AI feature. This role is deeply user-facing, and this criterion carries the most weight.

Data fluency: You are comfortable defining metrics, instrumenting them, and evaluating outcomes with numbers. Every decision on this team is backed by data.

AI fluency: You are hands-on and genuinely curious about AI tools and how models behave. Juno is built on AI, so you will be in the product every day.

ML knowledge: A strong bonus. The engineers bring that depth already, so we weigh UX judgment on AI features more heavily than model internals.

0-to-1 appetite: You want to build something that does not exist yet. Blank pages energise you.

Location: Based in France or Spain.

Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus, but it is optional.

Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback and you love constantly learning and getting better.
