Description du poste

Product Manager - AI-Native Digital Studio, Paris

About Selego

Selego is a digital product studio that builds Data & AI solutions for ambitious clients in healthcare, the public sector, education, finance and corporate. We work across Europe, with teams in Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Tirana, and we take products all the way: discovery, build, and the iteration that comes after. We don't hand over slide decks. We ship software that real people use every day.

We're also an AI-native studio. We build AI products for our clients, and we lean on AI tools internally to punch well above our weight.

The role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own client engagements end to end from our Paris studio. You'll sit between business, design and engineering, turning a client's rough ambition into a clear roadmap and then driving a small team to actually ship it.

This isn't a behind-the-scenes backlog role. In a studio model you're the face of the product to the client. You run discovery, you set priorities, you defend the trade-offs, and you own the outcome. Most of the time you'll have one or two client products on the go, each at a different stage.

What you'll own
  • Discovery and framing. Run discovery with clients and end users (interviews, workshops, problem framing) and turn fuzzy asks into a clear vision, scope and set of success metrics.
  • Roadmap and prioritization. Build and maintain a roadmap that balances client value, technical reality and timeline. Make the hard calls on what ships now versus later, and be able to explain why.
  • Delivery. Own the backlog and the rhythm. Write clear specs and user stories, run sprint planning, refinement and demos, and keep a team of two to four people unblocked and moving.
  • Client relationship. Be the main product contact for the client: weekly updates, demos, steering meetings. Take feedback, push back when you need to, and keep expectations grounded in reality.
  • AI product work. Shape and ship AI features (RAG, agents, assistants, automation), from framing the use case to defining how you'll measure quality and deciding when something is trustworthy enough to put in front of a user.
  • Quality bar. Make sure what ships is demo-ready and solid enough to show a senior decision-maker with no prep.
  • Measurement. Decide which metrics actually matter, get them instrumented, and use real usage and feedback to shape the next iteration.
Profile we're looking for
Must-haves
  • 3 to 5 years in product management, ideally in a product studio, agency, ESN or fast-moving tech company. Somewhere you've owned a product, not just a feature.
  • A track record of end-to-end ownership: you've taken something from discovery to live users, and you can talk through the trade-offs you made on the way.
  • Client-facing maturity. You can present, run a workshop, take feedback, push back when it matters, and turn a vague ask into a plan. You're comfortable being the one in the room with the client.
  • Strong written and spoken English (C1 or above) and professional French. Several of our clients and users work in English, and we collaborate in both languages internally.
  • Comfort with engineering and AI. You don't need to code, but you understand how software gets built, you can hold your own with engineers on architecture trade-offs, and you get how LLM features actually work (and how they fail).
  • An ownership mindset. You spot a problem, you scope it, you drive it. You don't wait to be told.
Strongly preferred
  • You've shipped an AI feature to real users (a RAG product, an assistant, an agentic workflow) and you have a point of view on how to judge whether it's good.
  • You already use AI tools day to day (Claude, Cursor and the like) to draft specs, prototype, dig into data and generally do more with less.
  • Experience in a regulated, data-heavy field (finance, healthcare, public sector, legal). That's a real accelerator for the clients we work with.
  • You're fluent with the usual product tooling: Figma, Notion, Linear, Jira and analytics tools.
Nice to have
  • A studio, agency or ESN background, where you've juggled client deliverables with genuine product thinking.
  • A bit of hands-on ability (SQL, prototyping, light scripting) so you can answer your own questions without waiting on a dev.
  • An eye for design and UX, and experience working closely with product designers.
How we work
  • Small, focused teams. Usually two to four people per project, with the PM close to both the client and the code.
  • Direct contact, light process. We hire people we trust and give them real ownership. Written docs and demos, yes. Ceremony for its own sake, no.
  • Pragmatic and fast. We'd rather get a real thing in front of a user than polish a plan. Ship, learn from real usage, iterate.
  • AI-first by default. We expect everyone to use AI to work smarter, and we share what works.
  • Tooling: GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear, Figma.
What we offer
  • Real ownership of products that ship and get used, across a genuinely varied client portfolio.
  • An international, multicultural team and exposure to projects across Europe.
  • A front-row seat on applied AI: building with the latest models on real client problems, not demos.
  • Flexibility, with hybrid working out of our Paris studio and autonomy over how you organize your time.
  • Room to grow fast, with mentorship and a clear path to senior or lead. The ceiling is mostly set by what you're ready to take on.
  • A competitive package in line with your experience.
Logistics
  • Contract: CDI (full-time)
  • Location: Paris, hybrid
  • Languages: English (C1+) and professional French
Process
  • A 30-minute intro call with the hiring manager.
  • A product conversation: walk us through a product you owned end to end, the discovery, the trade-offs, what shipped, and what you'd do differently.
  • A short product case or take-home (three hours max), discussed live.
  • A final round with two Selego team members and an intro to how we work.
  • Offer.

We aim for two to three weeks from first call to offer.
