Qualifications

  • Experience in the video industry is appreciated.
  • Knowledge of IP networking & datacenter/cloud architecture is required.

As a Product Manager, you will work within the Video Appliances Product Management team and focus on Product Marketing activities related to Harmonic video product. Joining us, you will be a key contributor to the development of Harmonic product portfolio.

Location : Rennes, France

Hybrid Key Responsibilities
  • Build requirement specifications and business plans for new products and product evolutions
  • Actively participate to product core teams, in relationship with R&D, support and other teams
  • Support customer visits and trade show activities
  • Maintain and develop Sales and Marketing collaterals, create white papers, conference papers and other marketing material
  • Manage Competition analysis data on a regular basis
  • Manage partnerships, whether technical and business development -oriented
You will :
  • Own the product lifecycle of a product, from the inception to the end‑of‑life of the solution
  • Work in collaboration with the sales and pre‑sales teams on key projects :
  • Study the specific needs, feasibility, cost and planning
  • Prepare the customer pitch
  • Contribute to financial and production monitoring :
  • annual and quarterly budget forecasts
  • monthly production forecasts based on expected sales
  • quarterly reporting of order intake, revenues and margins
What you will need to succeed :
  • Marketing / product management / business development experience in the tech industry required
  • Strong experience in video industry will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of IP networking & datacenter / cloud architecture
  • Being completely fluent in English is mandatory
  • Important communication skills are necessary to interface with product‑related internal and external customers
  • Strong writing skills desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
