Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking a Procurement Manager in Avionics Cockpit Systems to join the Equipment & Systems Procurement team. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, manage calls for tenders, and negotiate terms with suppliers to optimize costs and performance for cockpit programs.

You will collaborate with Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality across multi-functional teams, ensuring compliance and robust supplier relationships as Airbus advances next-generation cockpit

Qualifications

  • 5-year degree in Business/Procurement or Engineering.
  • Extensive procurement experience in aeronautics environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • English mandatory; French a plus.

## Procurement Manager - Avionics Cockpit SystemsApply: Toulouse Area: Full time: Posted Today: JR10441360****Job Description:****A strategic opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Avionics Cockpit Systems has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse, joining the Equipment and Systems Procurement department.Inside the Cockpit systems team, you will be at the crossroads of innovation, directly influencing how tomorrow’s systems evolve towards greater connectivity and autonomy. Joining a multicultural and highly engaged team within Equipment & Systems Procurement, you will develop end-to-end business solutions with a direct impact on Airbus' revenues, costs, and EBIT. You will collaborate with suppliers to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to our customers. You will be part of a multi-functional team (MFT), responsible for aligning with Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Customer Services bringing the big picture into your perimeter. As Procurement Manager, your main activities will be the following:* Organize procurement activities linked to one or several products/packages/suppliers multi-program;* Contribute to sourcing activities, manage call for tenders and negotiate contractual framework with suppliers to obtain the best purchasing conditions for Airbus;* Manage relationships with suppliers;* Monitor contracts all along their lifecycle (innovation, development, series production and support phases), ensuring strict compliance with contractual terms and conditions* Negotiate amendments and claims with suppliers to secure the best commercial and operational terms for Airbus;* Drive strategic supplier relationships and performance; proactively managing supply chain and commercial risks, and ensuring supplier alignment with Airbus standards;* Ensure cross-functional alignment across key internal stakeholders (Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Quality, Finance, and Legal) and actively contribute to MFTs and R&T initiatives;* Participate in shaping long-term cockpit system strategies to directly feed Airbus' procurement roadmap for Next Generation Single Aisle program;* Participate or lead negotiations to frame R&D projects, preparing the competitive ground for future calls for tenders on new technologies or new systems.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:* Educated to 5-year degree level in Business, Procurement or Engineering* Significant experience in Procurement and aeronautical environment, with a proven track record in leading complex, high-stakes negotiation and/or projects* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence multi-functional teams (Engineering, Programs, Supply Chain)* Proactive, customer-oriented, and passionate about new technologies and their evolution* Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory (negotiation level); French is a plusThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.********Company:********Airbus Operations SAS**Employment Type:**Permanent-------Classe Emploi (France): Classe G13**Experience Level:**Professional**Job Family:**Sourcing, Buying and Ordering By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
