FORVIA is seeking a Process Engineer to own mechanical equipment related to the polyurethane process. You will lead automation and robotics aspects, coordinate projects, and drive process improvements across production lines in a fast-changing automotive environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in manufacturing, strong knowledge of PUR systems, CATIA, and Lean principles, with fluency in English and French. The role is based on site in France and offers growth across global platforms.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering in Equipment Design, Project Management/Automation and Robotics.
• 2–5 years of experience in production.
• English and French proficiency required.
• Knowledge of PUR pouring machines.
• Knowledge of automation and robotics.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (CATIA) and automation tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate all process aspects related to mechanics, automation, and robotics.
• Lead projects for retrofitting production lines or new foaming/assembly lines.
• Propose PoCs to support process improvements and innovations.
• Define production line concepts with ME specialists.
• Write technical specs for new equipment and machines.
• Prepare and manage the investment budget for projects.
• Support Manufacturing Leaders in plants during new project implementations.
• Lead key suppliers within domain or project scope.
• Launch POs and track delivery of machines and materials.
• Participate in supplier validation and final acceptance of equipment.
• Manage machine acceptance for performance and safety.
• Support setup and commissioning of new equipment.
• Define and maintain process standards.
