Benedictine Living is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide to schedule and drive community vehicles, transporting residents safely and efficiently. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain records, and support loading/unloading as needed.

Responsibilities include following state laws and company policies, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to a safe, caring environment aligned with our Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driverf license for the type of vehicle.
• Driving record meets Benedictine requirements.

• Follow state laws, Benedictine policies, and resident safety guidelines.
• Maintain trip scheduling, mileage, and maintenance records.
• Execute preventive maintenance, pre-trip inspections and annual mechanic checks.
• Assist with loading/unloading of passengers when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Promote Benedictine Mission and Core Values in daily work.

Overview

Coordinates and executes all transportation needs for residents/tenants as provided under community policy. Responsible for assuring community vehicles are routinely maintained and comply with State and Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Expected to maintain a safe driving record that meets Benedictine requirements at all times.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and drive community vehicles to transport residents/tenants in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow all established state laws, Benedictine and community policies and procedures, and resident safety/safe patient handling guidelines at all times, including during emergencies and inclement weather.
• Maintain all necessary records including trip scheduling and logging mileage and maintenance.
• Establish, execute, and record regular preventive maintenance schedules, required repairs, pre-trip inspections of lights and tires, and annual profession mechanic inspection.
• Assist with loading and unloading of passengers and may be needed to assist in and out of destination.
• Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned to operate
• Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements

$15.75-$23.40
