Job description

SGX, part of the Propelis Group, brings together more than 150 years of combined experience from SGS&Co and SGK, forming a powerhouse in packaging graphics, prepress, and print production. We offer a full suite of solutions, including artwork and file preparation, plate and cylinder production, and metal deco services, supported by advanced technology and a global footprint.

Join the team helping transform one of the world's most recognised beauty brands.

SGX is seeking an experienced Print Production Manager to become a trusted partner to a major European FMCG client during a pivotal period of growth and transformation.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you'll act as the bridge between the client, design agencies, printers, and production teams, helping to guide critical packaging and print decisions across multiple European markets. You'll build strong stakeholder relationships, provide expert advice, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards from concept through to production.

If you enjoy working directly with clients, influencing outcomes, solving complex challenges and managing key stakeholder relationships, this is an opportunity to play a central role within a global packaging and brand implementation business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serving as the day-to-day print and packaging advisor for a leading global beauty brand, building trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for print and production-related queries, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Leading Print Production Meetings (PPMs) with client teams, design agencies and printers, driving alignment and project success.
  • Consulting on print feasibility, colour management, reprographics and production best practice to support informed decision-making.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and coordinating activity across agencies, printers and internal teams.
  • Supporting key client initiatives including new product launches, artwork changes and print trials across Europe.
  • Working proactively to identify risks, resolve issues and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Representing SGX at press passes, production trials and strategic client meetings when required.
What We're Looking For
  • Proficiency in both English and French language
  • Strong print production, print management or packaging technical experience.
  • Proven experience working directly with clients, managing relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of repro, colour management and print processes including Flexo, Offset, Gravure and Digital.
  • Experience within FMCG, retail, packaging or branded environments.
  • A confident communicator who can engage effectively with clients, agencies, suppliers and internal teams at all levels.
  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in artwork, pre-press, colour separation or packaging production would be highly advantageous.
Why Join Us?

This is more than a traditional print production role. It's an opportunity to become a strategic partner to one of the world's most recognised beauty brands, helping shape packaging execution across multiple markets and influencing key production decisions.

You’ll combine technical expertise with stakeholder management, relationship building and consultancy, working closely with senior client contacts, agencies and production partners to deliver exceptional results. For someone who enjoys being customer-facing and making a visible impact, this role offers the chance to build your profile while working on packaging seen by millions of consumers across Europe.
