Jobgether in France seeks a Principal Engineer (Java/SAP) to architect and deliver enterprise software integrating Java apps with SAP Ariba. You will lead a small engineering team, shape roadmaps, and drive architecture across configuration, workflows, and connector development.

The role combines hands-on software engineering with strategic technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with product and client-facing teams. Initial three-month engagement with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience with production Java applications and Spring Boot.
• Deep SAP Ariba expertise, API access, and platform configuration knowledge.
• Experience building backend integrations using APIs, events, and NoSQL stores.
• Leadership of engineering teams and architectural decision-making across complex integrations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and architect Java/Spring Boot solutions integrating SAP Ariba with backend services.
• Own the technical roadmap for SAP Ariba integrations and connector-side engineering.
• Provide technical leadership to a small engineering team on the integration platform.
• Drive architectural decisions on design, infrastructure, and integration approaches.
• Serve as primary technical contact for SAP Ariba configuration and troubleshooting.
• Design backend integrations using event-driven architectures and NoSQL stores.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams on roadmaps and workstreams.
• Promote best practices, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Lead and mentor engineers to foster technical excellence and collaboration.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Support performance, secure authentication, credential management, and reliability of integrations.
