Sezzle seeks a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, operate, and scale the platform powering Sezzle. Focus on outages, latency, capacity bottlenecks, resilience, and automated production operations as the business grows.

You will own initiatives from architecture through deployment, with AWS, Kubernetes, Aurora RDS, and IaC. You’ll participate in on-call rotation and drive reliable, cost-efficient infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure or SRE roles.
• Expertise with AWS including VPCs, IAM, multi-account setups.
• Production Kubernetes expertise; EKS preferred.
• Experience tuning RDS/Aurora databases at scale.
• Proven track record of scalable infrastructure improvements.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical architecture and evolution of core infrastructure.
• Design and operate AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes platform.
• Lead on-call rotations and incident recovery.
• Build AI-assisted operational tooling and observability.
• Drive cost efficiency and scalable disaster recovery.
