AQEMIA is advancing a rapidly expanding portfolio of small molecule programs, starting with oncology and immuno-oncology. You will join the Drug Discovery Sciences team to drive biology-driven decisions and guide projects from discovery to clinical candidates.

The role emphasizes deep biology expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on leadership in translational biology to maximize progress toward proof of concept.

Qualifications

• PhD in biological sciences or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years in early-stage drug discovery and project ideation.
• Expertise in oncology and/or immuno-oncology.
• Hands-on wet lab experience to guide external partners.
• Proven ability to apply rigorous, data-driven thinking in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsabilités

• Drive identification, validation, and selection of novel biological targets aligned with unmet medical needs.
• Contribute to early-stage project ideation with deep biological insight.
• Guide programs from early discovery into AQEMIA pipeline toward proof of concept.
• Design, implement, and maintain screening cascades for compound evaluation.
• Partner with project teams to provide biological expertise and data-driven prioritization.
• Manage external CROs to define experiments and generate high-quality datasets.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across biology, chemistry, modeling, and platform teams.
