Job summary
Gramian Consultancy is seeking a Production Unit Manager for a Swiss luxury components manufacturer in Neuchâtel. You will oversee a specialized production unit, drive performance, and ensure quality and adherence to procedures.
The role requires 5+ years in precision manufacturing, hands-on experience with high-precision processes (notably SuperLumiNova), and fluent French. You will lead a small technical team on site and contribute to new product industrialization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in precision manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
- Hands-on experience with high-precision components and production processes, especially SuperLumiNova.
- Strong knowledge of workflows, process control, and production quality.
- Experience coordinating priorities, resources, tooling, and materials.
- Fluent in French; working knowledge of English considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operational performance of a precision-manufacturing unit
- Optimize equipment, materials and workforce to meet targets
- Coordinate production priorities to meet delivery requirements
- Supervise a small technical production team
- Ensure strict manufacturing procedures and quality standards
- Contribute to industrialization of new products
- Evaluate tooling and raw-materials for new production activities
- Provide first-level technical support for production issues
