Job summary

LFA is seeking a production operator to manufacture secondary operation parts (threading, rolling, deburring) according to given drawings. The role involves preparing machines, installing tooling, and validating settings by inspecting initial parts.

You will conduct in-process checks and manage tooling inventory in a 4‑day workweek environment. The ideal candidate has solid general mechanics knowledge, can read industrial drawings, and is comfortable using measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of general mechanics.
• Ability to read industrial drawings is essential.
• Knowledge of measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the machine and install the tooling required for production.
• Set up the tooling and machine to achieve a compliant part.
• Start production by inspecting the first parts to validate the settings.
• Perform in-process dimensional and quality checks on produced parts.
• Manage the standard tooling inventory for the department.
