Job summary

Ecole M, a network of bilingual preschools in Paris, is hiring English-speaking teachers for the next school year and expanding with new schools in Paris. You will teach 2- to 5-year-olds alongside a French-speaking teacher and contribute to a bold, innovative preschool project.

You will design individualized work plans, set learning objectives, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child’s development. Training and integration are provided.

Ecole M is a group of 9 bilingual preschools located in Paris 5, Paris 11, Paris 13, Paris 14, Paris 15, Paris 19, Paris 20 and Clichy, offering an innovative pedagogical program based on 6 pillars: personalized teaching, active pedagogies, socio-emotional learning, the family-school relationship, bilingualism and eco-citizenship.

We are currently hiring English-speaking teachers in various schools in Paris and the Paris region for the next school year 2027-26.

Job Description

As part of the development of our École M network, we are hiring all year long and opening two schools in Paris intra-muros for the start of the 2027 school year, and are recruiting two English-speaking teachers.

• You will teach in a multi-level class with children aged 2to 5years old alongside a French-speaking teacher.
• You will be responsible for preparingand developingthe work plan for your class, in accordance with the school project, the pedagogical project and the national curriculum. You will work closely with the other members of the teaching team.
• You will determine the academic and socio-emotional learning objectives for each child, and establish an individualized work plan to achieve these objectives.
• You will share learning objectives, assessment tools and results with colleagues, families and students.
• You will contribute to building a strong and positive relationship with students, families and other members of the teaching team and the school.
• You will contribute to the development of the school through your passion for teaching, your open-mindedness and your interpersonal skills.
• You will collaborate with researchers, designers, developers and other educators to develop a new and innovative pre-schoolmodel.

Qualifications

• You are a passionate teacherwith significant experience, ideally in different environments, countries and/or school systems.
• You are are warmand caring and put children first.
• You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with your colleagues.
• You are passionate about teaching with a good knowledge of child development in theory and practice. You use innovative methods and tools in your teaching.
• You are motivated, open-minded, dynamic and creative, but also rigorous, patient and organized.
• You want to get involved in an entrepreneurial project and master modern software and collaboration tools.
