Qair Group in Paris is seeking a Data Analyst – Power Markets to transform market data into actionable insights for trading teams. You will cover the full analytical chain from collection to visualization, supporting decision-making in a fast-growing energy trading environment.

Based in Paris with an on-site role and an on-call schedule after a trial period, you will work with Energy Management, IT, and trading to develop pricing tools for multi-technology portfolios and contribute to continuous

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong SQL skills to handle large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Analytical mindset with rigorous data processing.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Business acumen and understanding of operational challenges.
• Autonomy, proactivity, and prioritization in a loosely structured environment.
• Proficiency in professional French and English.

Responsabilités

• Collect, structure, and validate market data (prices, volumes, production, consumption, weather).
• Produce analyses on market dynamics across intraday, spot, and forward timeframes.
• Identify opportunities and anomalies from data.
• Contribute to measuring trading strategy performance (PnL, risk, KPIs).
• Improve data tools (quality, automation, visualization).
• Collaborate with trading and IT to integrate analyses into systems (ETRM, EMS, BI).
• Develop PPA pricing, supply, and renewable portfolio aggregation tools.
