Sorbonne University in Paris invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in electrochemistry and materials science. The appointment will join the ERC Starting Grant project URANUS at LISE and focus on AESEC techniques for extreme environments.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in chemistry or a related field with a strong publication record and hands-on experience in advanced electrochemical methods and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of scientific communication in written and spoken English.
• In-depth knowledge of electrochemistry, corrosion, and materials science.
• Understanding of experimental device design for fundamental research.

Responsabilités

• Postdoctoral research associate in electrochemistry and materials science.
• Develop and apply AESEC techniques for studying electrochemical systems in extreme environments.
• Contribute to design of electrochemical cells and experiments in hot nitric acid and molten salts.
• Disseminate results through publications and international conferences.
• Collaborate within URANUS project and with national/international partners.
