The successful candidate will carry out theoretical research on transport and dynamics in quantum systems in the presence of disorder, interactions and/or topology, within the framework of the PEPR QUTISYM programme.
A particular focus will be on Anderson localization and its connection to Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) physics, with a particular interest in identifying experimentally observable signatures of this connection. Other research directions may also be explored, including the superfluid-to-insulator transition, random quantum circuits, and the effects of quantum measurements.
The position is funded within the framework of the PEPR QUTISYM programme and will be based at the Institut de Physique de Nice (INPHYNI, CNRS–Université Côte d'Azur). The successful candidate will join an environment bringing together several theoretical and experimental groups working on quantum transport, disorder, interactions and topology.
The position offers opportunities for collaboration with the various partners of the PEPR and a degree of autonomy in shaping the research project according to the candidate's skills and interests.
