The main activities focus on piloting a research project aimed at studying the organization of motor pathways in the mouse brain, including:
The candidate will join the Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience, an international research environment bringing together developmental, cognitive, integrative, and computational neuroscience teams. The recruited person will join a team studying neuronal circuits and motor control in mice (team name: neuropsi.cnrs.fr/equipe-julien-bouvier), composed of a research director, a conference lecturer, 2 assistants/engineers, 2 postdoctoral researchers, 2 PhD students, and several students in master's and internship programs.
The project combines in vivo approaches: functional genetics, connectivity/histology/genomic analyses, and behavioral analysis.
