A French university is seeking a research engineer in computer architecture. The successful candidate will work on the ADAPTING PEPR project, developing a platform for embedded AI and studying deep neural networks. Candidates should have a PhD and skills in C programming and a good command of English and French. Offer Description

As a research engineer, the successful candidate will work within the ADAPTING PEPR project, funded by France 2030 and led by the ANR (French National Research Agency).

Within this project, the ASIC team at IETR aims to develop a distributed platform for the deployment and evaluation of embedded AI.

The recruited individual will support and participate in the team's various scientific projects in this field, including studying the impact of arithmetic operations on the reliability and accuracy of deep neural networks (DNNs), evaluating flexible arithmetic operators, and supporting the deployment and testing of the platform.

Disseminating and promoting this work through scientific publications is a key objective.
