Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques (IHES) in Île-de-France invites applications for two (2+1)-year post-doctoral positions in theoretical physics with a starting date in fall 2027.

Candidates should have a strong background in quantum and/or conformal field theory, effective field theory, gravitation, and related areas, with broad interest in critical phenomena, bootstrap, RG, topological phases, tensor networks, and gravitational wave physics.

Responsibilities
