The ESRF - The European Synchrotron in Grenoble is looking for a Ph.D. graduate to set up research programs in X-ray diffraction and support users at ID15A. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in materials science and work with global experts in a vibrant city.

With a contract of 18 months, renewable for a further period, candidates should have strong communication skills and expertise in data analysis, with proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. obtained within the last 3 years in a relevant scientific field.
• Background in X-ray diffraction and scattering.
• Experience in experimental data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Set up and lead research programs leveraging ID15A capabilities.
• Support beamline users in collaborative projects.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
