Laboratoire Chimie de l'Environnement is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Atmospheric Chemistry and Urban Air Quality to lead the analysis of data from a major urban field campaign studying how greening and mobility strategies affect air quality. The role sits within a multidisciplinary programme combining atmospheric chemistry, urban planning and health sciences.

The successful candidate will work with VOC and aerosol measurements using state-of-the-art instruments on the MASSALYA platform,

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, physics or environmental sciences (atmospheric chemistry) preferred.
• Experience with VOC or aerosol measurements and online mass spectrometry is required.
• Proficiency in advanced statistics and automated data processing (Igor, Python, R) is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the processing and analysis of the atmospheric chemistry and aerosol datasets.
• Investigate the influence of urban design, greening and mobility on air pollutant concentrations and composition.
• Develop and apply appropriate statistical and source-apportionment approaches.
• Contribute to scientific publications and present results at international conferences.
