CNRS CINaM in Marseille invites applications for a postdoctoral position studying the electronic response of plasmonic doped semiconductor nanoparticles using TDDFT Real-Time methods.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in theoretical Physics or Chemistry with strong background in condensed matter or quantum chemistry, and experience with ab initio/DFT calculations. Collaboration with CINaM and external partners is expected.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a PhD in theoretical Physics or Chemistry with a strong background in condensed matter physics and quantum chemistry.
• Experience with ab initio/DFT calculations; prior coding experience is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with international multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Carry out theoretical studies of the electronic response of doped silicon nanoparticles using TDDFT Real-Time methods.
• Compare results with state-of-the-art experimental data; engage with CINaM and collaborators.
• Work within the ANR project and contribute to publications.
