CNRS Laboratoire de Physique des Solides in France seeks a PDRA to advance theories and simulations of rod-shaped plasmonic nanoparticles and their self-assembly in chiral liquid crystals. You will develop models, run large-scale simulations, and collaborate closely with experimental teams within the consortium.

The role requires a PhD in a related field, a research-oriented mindset, and strong expertise in Monte Carlo or Molecular Dynamics simulations.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field (Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related).
• Strong research track record in soft matter statistical mechanics and simulations.

Responsabilités

• Develop coarse grained models and run large-scale simulations to link geometry and self-assembly.
• Set up statistical mechanical models to address depletion effects on nanorod phase behavior.
• Collaborate with experimental teams and integrate findings into workflows.
• Attend international conferences and publish in high-impact journals.
