CNRS Institut Néel in Grenoble invites candidates to join the Nanophysics and Semiconductors team as a researcher. The role involves fabricating superconducting–semiconducting test structures using planar layers developed at Néel, with electron beam lithography and wet etching, plus low-temperature transport measurements.

The project includes TEM-based structural characterization campaigns and data analysis with publication of findings. A PhD in Physics and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or related field.
• Expertise in nanofabrication and low-temperature measurements.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate superconducting-semiconductor–superconducting test structures in a cleanroom.
• Perform low-temperature electronic measurements of the components.
• Fabricate TEM lamellae using FIB for structural analysis.
• Contribute to structural characterizations via TEM.
• Analyze experimental data and write reports and scientific publications.
