CNRS – Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier seeks a First Stage Researcher (R1) to work on chemical recycling of PET and polyurethanes, developing and optimizing depolymerization processes.

The project includes characterisation and valorisation of depolymerisation products, preparation of technical reports, and collaborative research within a team that brings together academic and industrial partners, including PETSHKA.

Qualifications

• Experience in organic and polymer chemistry applicable to depolymerization.
• Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques and data interpretation.
• Strong technical writing and ability to report methods and results.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize depolymerization processes for PET and polyurethanes.
• Characterize and valorize depolymerization products.
• Prepare technical reports detailing methods, results, and conclusions.
• Collaborate with academic and industrial partners (e.g., PETSHKA) in a multidisciplinary team.
