Nantes Université seeks a postdoctoral researcher for a project on PFAS pollution in the Pays de la Loire region. You will identify and quantify PFAS in air, water, soil, and food matrices, and characterize sources and fate of these compounds across campus and municipal sites.

The role involves developing sampling strategies, applying both targeted and non-targeted analyses, and collaborating with regional stakeholders to drive innovation in emissions and fate management.

Qualifications

• PhD in analytical chemistry or environmental science and technology.
• Knowledge and expertise in analytical development.
• Experience in environmental sampling and both targeted and non-targeted screening would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Develop a sampling strategy to identify PFAS exposure sources across contexts and scales.
• Identify and quantify PFAS in environmental and food matrices using validated analytical methods.
• Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to accelerate emission and fate management in the region.
