Job summary

LAPTh invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral position in theoretical cosmology within DarkES, a joint ANR–DFG project co-led by Dr. Azadeh Moradinezhad and Prof. Julien Lesgourgues.

The appointee will work on developing a robust framework for dark matter and neutrino physics using LSS observations, including Euclid and 21-cm mapping. The candidate will generalise EFTofLSS to include massive neutrinos and non-standard DM, combine modelling with N-body simulations, and forecast

Qualifications

• PhD in cosmology completed by start date.
• Familiarity with perturbative modelling of biased tracers of LSS.
• Experience analyzing N-body simulations to validate analytic predictions of clustering statistics.
• Experience with galaxy survey data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop EFTofLSS framework for massive neutrinos and non-standard dark matter.
• Incorporate models into predictions for the power spectrum and bispectrum.
• Run and analyze N-body simulations to validate predictions.
• Collaborate with LAPTh, RWTH Aachen and TU Munich groups, and join the Euclid Consortium.
