Qualifications

Strong background in quantum physics and multimode continuous-variable quantum optics.
Experimental expertise in nonlinear optics and ability to carry out theoretical calculations and simulations.
Experience with optical parametric amplification, especially in the multimode regime, and characterization of nonlinear photonic chips.

Responsibilities

Optimize multimode homodyne detection on the telecom setup.
Study detection by parametric amplification with large bandwidth and low losses.
Generate time-frequency cluster states.
Perform post-selection by photon counting with SNSPDs.
Characterize integrated parametric components (thin-film lithium niobate waveguides).
Co-supervise PhD students, write papers and present results at conferences.
