Institut Néel (CNRS) in France invites applications for a temporary Researcher to contribute to the development of a microwave-optical quantum interface. The project aims to enable long-distance transfer of microwave quantum information by optically mediating entanglement of distant qubits.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics relevant to the mission is required.
• Experience in nanofabrication, superconducting circuits or opto-mechanics is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Design, fabricate in a clean-room environment, and characterize electro-opto-mechanical devices at cryogenic temperatures.
• Develop an experimental bench for measurements, with emphasis on the optical part.
