INSERM U1065 in France is seeking a First Stage Researcher (R1) postdoctoral fellow to develop an immunology-metabolism focused project in collaboration with researchers. The role involves hands-on work with mouse models, functional assays, and collaboration across teams.

The candidate should hold a PhD or equivalent, with excellent English and strong IT/tool skills. Expected to contribute to publications and lab meetings in a supportive, well-equipped environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Biological sciences or related field.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Proficiency with computer tools/IT.

Responsabilités

• Develop the scientific project in collaboration with researchers.
• Manage mouse model colonies within the center’s animal facility.
• Develop functional assays in vivo and in vitro.
• Perform analyses using flow cytometry and confocal microscopy.
• Collaborate with other research teams.
• Summarize and present results during lab meetings.
• Contribute to writing of scientific articles.
