Université d'Orléans is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to join the ICOA in Orléans, working on projects funded by ANR, combining biology and organic/medicinal chemistry. The role includes designing CNS brain-penetrant compounds against LIMK kinase and performing virtual screening and in vitro/in vivo evaluation with an industrial partner.

The SB&C team will apply in silico methods to explore biomolecular structures and design novel compounds for therapeutic, cosmetics, and analytical

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics, chemoinformatics, molecular modelling.
• Good skills in machine learning, molecular modelling and structural bioinformatics.
• Proficiency with programming language (Python preferably).
• Knowledge in Linux environment.
• Advanced Python skills.
• Experience with machine learning methods and virtual screening.
• Effective English communication and scientific writing.

• Project 1: Development and implementation of classical and deep learning models.
• Chemical library docking.
• Project 2: Conformational search.
• Docking and scaffold hopping.
