Job summary

CHU Clermont-Ferrand invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in AI for endoscopic image analysis. The role focuses on 3D scene representation, real-time AI, and medical image analysis within the AILE project at the DIA2M Department.

The successful candidate will develop computational models for 3D endoscopic data, work with clinical data, and collaborate with researchers and industrial partners across Europe. 100% full-time appointment for 18 months, based in Clermont-Ferrand.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, CV or related discipline.
• Experience with deep neural networks and medical image analysis.
• Experience handling large medical datasets.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse clinical challenges related to lesion characterisation and endoscopic video.
• Propose innovative AI and CV solutions.
• Contribute to database documentation and quality control.
• Develop and evaluate AI models for endoscopic or surgical video.
• Ensure reproducibility and traceability of experiments.
• Collaborate with DIA2M department and industry partners.
