Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 invites applications for a post-doctoral position in image-guided neurosurgery funded by the EIC Pathfinder HyperProbe project. The role is hosted at CREATIS Lab and involves developing optical devices and processing algorithms to guide neurosurgeons during intraoperative assessments and connect biomarkers to MRI standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical engineering or related field; clinical partner experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research in image-guided neurosurgery and optical biomarker quantification.
• Develop optical devices and processing algorithms for intraoperative guidance.
• Collaborate with clinicians and engineers across hospitals and universities.
• Publish findings in conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentor junior researchers and PhD students on project goals.
• Prepare grant proposals and progress reports.
