CNRS BPM invites applications to design, produce, purify, and biophysically characterize GPCR receptors within lipid nanodisks. The project aims to model how membrane mechanics affect GPCR energy landscapes, guiding mechanistic insights into receptor function.

The candidate should have experience in membrane protein purification, lipid biochemistry, and relevant analytical techniques. Collaboration across a multidisciplinary unit and dissemination of findings are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the biochemistry of membrane proteins.
• Knowledge of the biochemistry of lipids.
• Knowledge of the pharmacology of GPCRs.
• NMR knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to write in English.

Responsabilités

• Produce and purify membrane and lipoprotein receptors (express in E. coli and SF9).
• Characterize proteins using biochemical, pharmacological, and biophysical techniques (NMR, crystallography).
• Disseminate results through publications, oral presentations, and posters at conferences.
