CNRS: The Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (ISIS) in Strasbourg seeks a postdoctoral researcher to develop digital polymers capable of storing binary information at the molecular level. The project uses a multi-step solid-phase approach for sequence-controlled polymers with automated synthesis systems.

The successful candidate will join the Laboratory of Informational Macromolecules Chemistry (LCMI) and contribute to polymer synthesis, characterization, and dissemination

Qualifications

• Theoretical and practical skills in polymer chemistry.
• Expertise in solid-phase chemistry.
• Hands-on experience in materials chemistry.
• Fluency in scientific English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsabilités

• Synthesis and characterization of monomers.
• Multi-step solid-phase polymer synthesis.
• Polymer characterization using MS, GPC, HPLC, and NMR.
• Development of an automated synthesis system.
• Writing reports and publications.
