Qualifications

• PhD in coastal dynamics, oceanography, climate science, environmental science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in physical oceanography, coastal processes, or atmospheric science.
• Strong programming and data analysis skills in Python, R, and MATLAB; ability to implement reproducible analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Study links between climate variability and coastal risks on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts.
• Identify and diagnose relationships between climate variability modes and coastal indicators.
• Cross-reference retrospective simulations and observational data to characterize physical and statistical mechanisms.
• Contribute to production of scientific results, publications and conferences.
• Collaborate with project partners and doctoral students involved in WP3.
