Job summary

Servier BioDiscovery is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to drive innovation in hit discovery by leveraging modern lead-finding approaches and AI. You will develop automated DEL analysis workflows, train advanced AI models, and virtually screen ultra-large chemical libraries to identify novel entry points for drug discovery programs.

Requirements include a PhD in a relevant field, strong Python and RDKit expertise, ML/DL experience, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemoinformatics, Computational Chemistry, Data Science, Bioinformatics or closely related field.
• Advanced Python proficiency.
• Expertise with RDKit and DNA-encoded library informatics.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks.
• Strong GitHub usage and Google Cloud Platform familiarity.
• Strong scientific acumen, creativity, and teamwork.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated computational workflows for DEL screening data analysis.
• Manage formatting, structuring and organization of DEL screening data for AI use.
• Design, train and optimize ML/DL models on DEL datasets to predict properties.
• Deploy models to virtually screen ultra-large libraries to identify new entry points.
• Perform cheminformatics analyses to build SAR models and guide hit-to-lead processes.
• Foster FAIR data principles through DEL data curation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to advance computational hit discovery.
