Université Bourgogne Europe in France is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance the PYRAMIDE project within the EMCAP team at ICMUB. The role focuses on synthesis and electrochemical functionalization of porphyrin-based molecules and materials for hydrogen evolution, under Prof.

Charles Devillers. You will perform electrosynthesis, electropolymerization, and electroanalytical studies, write weekly reports in English, and contribute to publications and patents while collaborating with

Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry or equivalent required.
Strong expertise in molecular synthesis and electrochemistry.
Proficiency with spectroscopy techniques (NMR, UV–Vis, IR, MS).
Experience in electrocatalysis is mandatory.
Excellent scientific English and safety awareness.

Responsabilités

Develop and optimize protocols for chemical synthesis and electrochemical functionalization of porphyrins.
Synthesize porphyrin-based materials via electropolymerization.
Install and use a new micro-GC instrument for analyses.
Determine key electrocatalytic properties and propose improvements.
Write weekly progress reports in English; contribute to publications/patents.
Present results at conferences and seminars.
