Post doctoral position in advanced spectroscopy measurements on polariton quantum fluids.
The position will be hosted at the Kastler Brossel Laboratory (LKB), a leading research laboratory in quantum physics. The researcher will join the Quantum Fluids of Light and Nanophotonics team, whose research focuses on quantum fluids of light, nonlinear photonics and hybrid light–matter systems.
The recruited researcher will work on nonlinear polariton networks for quantum sensing, in close interaction with the team members, including researchers, engineers and PhD students. The position will be supervised by the project leader and will involve both independent research activities and collaborative work within the team.
Strong background in quantum optics, semiconductor physics, polariton physics and/or nonlinear photonics.
Experience with optical experiments, spectroscopy and characterization of quantum or photonic systems.
Ability to develop theoretical models and/or numerical simulations of nonlinear driven-dissipative systems.
Skills in data analysis, scientific programming and interpretation of experimental results.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment combining theory, experiments and quantum technologies.
Strong motivation for research and ability to work independently.
Good problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity.
Ability to collaborate effectively within an international research team.
Good communication skills, including the ability to present and discuss scientific results.
Rigorous approach, autonomy and commitment to high-quality research.
