Jobtailor in Molsheim, France, seeks a hands-on Platform Operations Engineer who balances service ownership with a strong technical focus. You will run DFL services—Kafka, Apache Hop, Dremio, Iceberg, and hosting—on Kubernetes, ensuring stability, performance and high availability.

You will handle incident, problem and change management within ITIL guidance; participate in root cause analyses, write runbooks, and contribute to automated, standardized processes and platform conventions.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Business IT, Data Engineering or equivalent; recent graduates welcome.
Interest in reliability, automation and technical standards.
Experience with distributed systems and platform operations is a plus.
Strong communication in French and English; German is advantageous.

Responsabilités

Run operations for DFL services on Kubernetes with emphasis on stability and high availability.
Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis and ITIL-aligned change management.
Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerts, and dashboards; support capacity planning and performance investigations.
Create and improve runbooks and technical standards; contribute to platform conventions (RBAC, secrets, backup/restore).
Assist business and product teams; optimize onboarding and run workshops to promote compliant platform usage.
