Hager Group is hiring a Category Sourcing Management Specialist (Plastic) based in Blieskastel (Germany) or Obernai (France) for a permanent contract. You will develop sourcing strategies for plastics, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure reliable supply and quality.

You will oversee market analysis, risk management, and alignment with manufacturing needs while ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in business management, supply chain management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in a category management position, with plastics raw materials expertise.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills; ability to analyze information, solve problems and decide.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a sourcing strategy for plastics to support the supply chain.
• Manage policies and processes for purchasing raw materials for manufacturing and research.
• Monitor raw materials market and global conditions to inform purchasing decisions.
• Identify and manage supplier risk; build relationships for reliable supply and quality.
• Oversee tenders and contract negotiations to secure best prices for raw materials.
• Strategically support internal stakeholders to meet inventory and manufacturing needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing purchase and delivery of goods.
