A young deep-tech company in Paris is seeking a part-time Scientific Software & Control Systems Engineer. You will design and maintain control systems for plasma physics experiments using EPICS and TANGO. Ideal candidates have experience in control system architectures, network configurations, and programming in Python or C/C++. This role offers flexible engagement rates and competitive compensation based on experience, within a collaborative and agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with EPICS and/or TANGO.
• Knowledge of control systems and data acquisition architectures.
• Network configuration in laboratory environments.
• Programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the control and communication architecture.
• Set up and maintain a control system based on EPICS and/or TANGO.
• Integrate diagnostics, sensors, and hardware interfaces.
• Organize network connectivity between systems.
• Contribute to the data acquisition and processing pipeline.
