Smithfield Foods seeks a Plant General Manager to lead a large site, drive profitability, and ensure safety and quality across operations. You will oversee labor, yields, and costs while building a strong team and adhering to policy, procedure, and compliance standards.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8+ years in plant management, 2+ years of leadership, OSHA/USDA knowledge, and experience with SAP, Excel, and Word. Travel 10% and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business or related field.
8+ years’ experience in plant management or equivalent.
Minimum 2+ years’ leadership experience with team development.
Solid knowledge of OSHA and USDA Food Safety regulations.
Experience with SAP, Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

Oversees planning, directing and managing a large site to meet policy and P&L targets.
Trains and coaches supervisors to improve yields, labor costs and productivity.
Monitors safety, quality and adherence to procedures.
Ensures cost control, budgeting and resource optimization.
Collaborates with HR, QA, accounting and maintenance; travels 10%.
