Job summary

Quandela is seeking a supply chain leader to build end-to-end S&OP from the ground up in its Massy/Paris footprint. The role requires moving between strategy and execution, from 18-month capacity outlooks to resolving shortages and ensuring on-time customer shipments.

You’ll lead cross-functional reviews, consolidate demand, maintain the master production schedule, and drive continuous improvement in inventory, procurement and logistics. Fluency in French and English is essential.

  • Proven experience implementing or running an S&OP process.
  • Strong command of demand and production planning, scheduling, MRP, purchasing, inventory management and logistics.
  • Hands-on ERP/MRP experience and data-driven decision making.
  • Fluent French and English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Build the S&OP process from scratch with governance, cadence, roles, inputs and KPIs.
  • Lead monthly cross-functional S&OP reviews with Sales, Operations, Production, R&D, Purchasing, Finance and Management, and establish a single shared view of demand, supply and customer commitments.
  • Consolidate demand from customer orders, weighted commercial forecasts, internal R&D needs, qualification activities and strategic programs into a rolling forecast.
  • Build and maintain the Master Production Schedule, with planning horizons adapted to long manufacturing and supply lead times.
  • Translate demand into capacity, resource, material and supplier requirements, identify gaps and develop scenarios to support management decisions on priorities and commitments.
  • Turn the production plan into executable schedules, monitor WIP and progress, and coordinate recovery plans when delays or shortages occur.
  • Structure purchasing and MRP processes, define sourcing strategies based on lead time, criticality, supply risk, cost and MOQ, and track supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness).
  • Define inventory principles and safety-stock strategies for critical components, while managing excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock.
  • Organize inbound, internal and outbound logistics, including the transport of fragile, sensitive and high-value technological products.
  • Manage customs and international trade: import/export documentation, classification, country of origin, Incoterms and compliance, in coordination with forwarders and brokers.
  • Contribute to the selection and deployment of ERP/MRP and planning tools, reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and build clear supply chain dashboards.

Join Us at the Forefront of Quantum Computing Innovation

At Quandela, we're moving from an R&D-driven organization toward a structured, scalable industrial operation. We're looking for a builder as much as a manager to create our end-to-end supply chain, from demand to customer delivery. Your first major challenge: build our S&OP process from the ground up. You'll move easily between strategy and execution, from running an S&OP review and an 18-month capacity outlook to solving a critical component shortage or securing an urgent customer shipment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Build the S&OP process from scratch: define governance, meeting cadence, roles, inputs and KPIs, then progressively mature it as the company scales
  • Lead monthly cross-functional S&OP reviews with Sales, Operations, Production, R&D, Purchasing, Finance and Management, and establish a single shared view of demand, supply and customer commitments
  • Consolidate demand from customer orders, weighted commercial forecasts, internal R&D needs, qualification activities and strategic programs into a rolling forecast
  • Build and maintain the Master Production Schedule, with planning horizons adapted to our long manufacturing and supply lead times
  • Translate demand into capacity, resource, material and supplier requirements, identify gaps and develop scenarios to support management decisions on priorities and commitments
  • Turn the production plan into executable schedules, monitor WIP and progress, and coordinate recovery plans when delays or shortages occur
  • Structure purchasing and MRP processes, define sourcing strategies based on lead time, criticality, supply risk, cost and MOQ, and track supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness)
  • Define inventory principles and safety-stock strategies for critical components, while managing excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock
  • Organize inbound, internal and outbound logistics, including the transport of fragile, sensitive and high-value technological products
  • Manage customs and international trade: import/export documentation, classification, country of origin, Incoterms and compliance, in coordination with forwarders and brokers
  • Contribute to the selection and deployment of ERP/MRP and planning tools, reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and build clear supply chain dashboards
  • Define and track key KPIs (forecast accuracy, plan adherence, supplier and customer OTD/OTIF, inventory turns, shortages, lead times) and drive continuous improvement
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, supply chain or industrial operations
  • Proven experience implementing or running an S&OP process
  • APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • Strong command of demand and production planning, scheduling, MRP, purchasing, inventory management and logistics
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn complex data into clear priorities and decisions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Thrives in a fast-changing, growing organization
  • Fluent French and English

Nice to have

  • Experience in semiconductor, photonics, electronics or other high-tech manufacturing
  • Foundries, outsourced manufacturing and long-lead-time, critical-component supply chains
  • International suppliers and customers, customs and international logistics
  • ERP implementation or supply chain digitalization; advanced Excel or Power BI
  • Competitive salary, flexible based on your experience
  • Profit-sharing & company savings plan
  • 100% health coverage (Alan)
  • 50% transport reimbursement or sustainable mobility bonus
  • Meal vouchers (Swile), Gymlib fitness support
  • Childcare assistance & referral bonuses (€1,000–€2,000)
What we offer:
  • A meaningful role with real ownership, from day one
  • A team eager to collaborate and grow with you
  • A hybrid work model (3 days/week onsite in Massy, 1 day in Paris, 1 to 2 days remotely)
  • Daily exposure to the entire quantum stack — from high-level APIs to low-level firmware, and everything in between.
Process
  • Talent Acquisition Interview (45')
  • Hiring Manager Interview (45')
  • Use Case (a live use case or one to be prepared at home and presented afterward)
  • Meeting with the teams
  • 2 reference check
  • Offer

(This process is provided for guidance only and may evolve depending on the roles)

At Quandela, we believe that the strength of our team is the plurality of experiences, perspectives, and journeys. We are committed to building a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. All applications are welcome.
